First edition. In six sections. Mounted on canvas. In publisher’s red half cloth folder, gilt title on front panel. Light foxing on each sections. First section of “Zweites Blatt” somewhat creased because of mounting, with no effect on image. Blank part of the third section of “Zweites Blatt” folded, near to edge, no effect on image. Binding slightly damaged at the joint of spine. Overall in very good condition.

Extremely scarce engraved panorama of München.

Very detailed and finely engraved panorama from the northern tower of the Frauenkirche. The sights are indicated at the upper edge of the sheets. The first sheet shows the city from Sendlinger Tor with Zugspitze in the background to the Alte Pinakothek and the Bayerischer Hof. The second sheet shows from Ludwigskirche and Theatinerkirche to the St. Peter's Church and the Auer Kirche in the distance, and closes with the tower of the Frauenkirche.
