First edition of one of the earliest exhibition catalogues of the collective of neo-avant-garde artists of the south-west Hungarian city Pécs.
The “Workshop” was active between 1970 and 1980, and their media were printing, paint and photography. They cooperated with a nearby enamelware factory and created applied art as well. Another direction of the artists were creating land art conceptual art.
This catalogue is a comprehensive introduction of the artists of the workshop (Zoltán Erdélyi, Ferenc Lantos, Sándor Kigyós, Károly Kismányoki, Kálmán Szijártó, Sándor Pinczehelyi, Tamás Aknai, Károly Halász and Ferenc Ficzek) and also of their work.
