Temporary citizenship is given to the Saint-Domingue born Jean-Baptiste-Joseph-René Dureau de la Malle (1742–1807). He is known as translator of Latin literature, member of the Corps législatif and the French Academy.
The certificate is issued and signed by Georges René Le Peley de Pléville (1726–1805) the Minister of the Navy and the Colonies (Ministre de la Marine et des Colonies).
