3 original, vintage sepia photographs. Each labelled in ink on verso, two dated (1896). One with printed label in Hungarian on recto. Sizes: 180 × 130 mm and 190 × 150 mm. Stained, slightly faded. Overall in good condition.

Collection of 3 photographs of the building of Transylvanian Railway Network between Mádéfalva and Gyimesbükk (today: Siculeni – Ghimeş-Făget). This part of the network was built between 1895 and 1897.

Due to the highland area there are several bridges, viaducts and tunnels on the railroad, one of them is the tunnel at Lóvész (today: Tunelul Ciumani at Livezi), with its lenght of 1223 meter it is still one of the longest railway tunnels in Romania. The photo is shows the entrance of the tunnel while under construction.
