A study on wines sold in Belgium with a guide about serving them.

Indicates the origins of different wines, the classification of Bordeaux, Medoc, Champagne, Burgundy wines, and also the wines from Tours Coteaux, Rhone, Midi, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Cape, Germany and Hungary. Contains a comparative assessment of crops of Bordeaux and Burgundy for 30 years between 1819 and 1849. Gives advises about different kinds of wines, wineries, fining and bottling, even how to treat and serve them.

Not much is known about the authors, they were both wine merchants and suppliers of the Belgian and French Court.
