Melchior (Menyhért) Palágyi (1859-1924) was a Hungarian philosopher, mathematician and physicist. In this study, which is considered as his major work, he presents a new theory of space and time, which had some similarities with space-time formalism of Poincaré and Minkowski in the context of special relativity theory. However Palágyi later he criticized Minkowski’s and Einstein’s theories.
