Illustrated by Mihály Zichy (1827–1906) the Hungarian graphic artist and painter, lived and worked in Paris and St. Petersburg. In 1853 he was appointed to the position of court artist for Alexander II of Russia.

“Tetemrehívás” was Márton Garas’ debut movie, while he was working for the film company Proja at Kolozsvár (now: Cluj-Napoca). The film is an adaptation of the 19th century Hungarian poet, János Arany’s dark ballad the “Call of the Corpse”.
