František Sklař and Jaroslav Béza were the two designers of this book, and the series of the “Arabian Nights” that contained two more pop-up books beside this one (Aladdin and Sinbad).
The book has two large pop-ups they also serve as the front and rear endpapers, in between there is the ten page story with four full page colour illustrations and five text illustrations.
