Portrait of Melchior Lengyel (1880–1974) the Hungarian writer, dramatist and film screenwriter, the author of several scripts for successful Hollywood movies. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Writing for the quadruple Oscar nominated Ninotchka (1939), and for Original Story of Ernst Lubitsch’s “To Be or Not to Be” (1942).
