Single-leaf prospectus announcing the Bauhausbücher, published by Albert Langen, Munich, under the editorial direction of Walter Gropius and László Moholy-Nagy, outlining the program of the series and advertising the first eight volumes with illustration counts and prices. The verso lists twenty-eight further Bauhausbücher then in preparation—several of which were never realized—covering architecture, art, design, typography, music, and stage practice by leading international figures of the modern movement.
Very rare prospectus; a copy is preserved at the Museum of Modern Art from the collection of Jan Tschichold (756.1999).
