Konnektor was founded in 1984 under the leadership of Endre Szkárosi, which can best be defined as a concert theater band made up of visual artists and musicians. The first Konnektor concert, called Punkanyar, took place on November 4 in the Lágymány Community Hall. After the successful performance, the performances continued for years. It was one of the first Hungarian musical formations that created electronic music using a computer.
