Vienna: 1929. 5 photographs – two photographs: 9.5X13 cm, two photographs: 22.5X17 cm and one photograph: 20X10 cm. Good overall condition. Slight stains and creases. Folds and tears at corners of one of the photographs (lacking two corners). Stains and traces of pasting on verso of photograph.
Apparently, the photographs were taken during a performance of the play "Der Sänger seiner Trauer" (after "Yoshke Musikant" by Osip Dymov) in the Yiddish theater in Vienna, 1929. Three photographs are signed in the plate "Glantz, Wien" (one is dated 1929). All the photographs, except for one, are stamped on the back with photographer's ink-stamp – "Atelier Glantz" (Vienna). T.
