On the first page, the author's words of recommendation to the director at the time of the Opera House can be read: "To Aladár Tóth, who dared and undertook, I promise that he will not regret it tomorrow (even if today is turbulent) and I send this book with grateful, affectionate love to Béla Balázs Budapest. 1948 , III. 17."
