Stated: "This apartment is under the protection of the Swedish Red Cross and Royal Swedish Embassy", written in Russian, French and Hungarian . These declarations were issued in Budapest in 1944 by Raul Wallenberg and Valdemar Langlet , the appointed Chairman of Swedish Red Cross in Hungary, as one part of an organized effort to protect Jews from persecution and deportation to Auschwitz. Extremely scarce.
