Unique 18th-century French manuscript book of recipes of dyes and colors, containing about 300 entries, some illustrated with textile a sample. Some three-hundred recipes for various colors and dyes are extracted from a variety of materials. Samples for shades of brown, red, yellow, green, grey, and black between pp. 9–16, unfortunately, some are missing.
