[France]: [1841]. Manuscript in ink and watercolors. In contemporary red maroquin binding by Chezaud (signed on spine). Panels and spine richly gilt, front panel with the initials L. M. ff [35 (of which 17 watercolors)]. (ca. 245 × 315 mm.). Edges gilt. Slightly rubbed at the extremities, corners bumped. Text in French on the versos, illustrations on the facing rectos. The watercolors are protected with tracing paper. Some light spots, ghosting of the ink, and foxing here and there, otherwise in very good condition.
