An original patent of nobility and grant of arms, given by Ferdinand II (1578–1637) to Illés Dolianszki. Signed by the Emperor, Péter Pázmány (1570–1637) as Archbishop of Esztergom, and the Primate of Hungary, and Lőrinc Ferenczffy (1577–1640) as royal secretary and scribe.
Such grants of arms with Hungarian reference, complete with the seal, are extremely rare. To the best of our knowledge, the present document is the first on the market bearing the signature of Péter Pázmány.
