In 1970 – Andrzej Lachowicz, Natalia LL, Zbigniew Dłubak and Antoni Dzieduszycki initiated the Neo-Avant-Garde group Permafo (an abbreviation of the words permanent and photo/formalization). Andrzej Lachowicz was the designer of the logo of the group. Lachowicz was also a founder and the art director of the Permafo Gallery in Wrocław, that was the most influential institution and the centre of Polish photomedialism until it closed in 1981.
