Second edition. Perhaps the most significant piece of Hungarian drama literature, it first appeared in January 1862 (on the title page dating back to 1861). János Arany, asked Károly Szász to make a detailed analysis and critique of the drama after the first edition was published. As a result, Madách made further improvements to the text and the second edition had already come to light with these changes. This, the last version published in the poet's life, has served as the basis for all subsequent communications ever since.
