Star Wars comics were first published in Hungary in 1982 thanks to the legendary couple Tibor Cs. Horváth and Attila Fazekas. The Empire Strikes Back's Hungarian premiere was in January 1982, the Youth Publishing Company, brought out the comic versions of the first two films in complete illegality without the knowledge of Lucasfilm.
