Printed in 500 copy. Adler (1909–1965) was a Hungarian-Jewish graphic artist and painter, survivor of the Holocaust. In 1944 he was deported to the Theresienstadt concentration camp and after the liberation he published this portfolio that presents partly his experiences and partly those episodes that he collected from survivors of Auschwitz. Adler was liberated by the Soviet Army in 1945, he went back to Hungary and in 1960 he moved to Israel.
