Extremely scarce advertisement for H. G. Wells’ film, Things to Come, published as a newspaper.

The black-and-white science fiction film was released in 1936. The film sets out a future history between 1940 and 2036 and starts with the outbreak of a second World War.

Present publication is dated 1 April 2040 and contains articles both about the film and some that are set in the film’s reality as well as an interview with Alexander Korda, the producer of the movie and a full-page advertisement of Chaplin’s 1936 film, Modern Times.
