Cover creased, corners bumped. Pages yellowed, moderately wavy from humidity at the tail towards the second half of the book. First two leaves partly torn at the lower edge. Dennis Gabor’s estate stamp, and another, old collection stamp on the verso of the second leaf. Shelf mark lettered in ink on the recto of the third leaf. Overall in good condition.

Dennis Gabor (1900 – 1979), the Hungarian-British electrical engineer and physicist, was awarded the 1971 Nobel Prize in Physics for inventing holography. Gabor was also an early futurist. His first examination on the subject, Inventing the Future was published in 1963.
