[S. l.]: [S.n], 1973. Original, vintage poster. rinted in black-and-white. Signed in the upper right in pen. With four photographic reproductions. 205 × 289 mm. In fine condition.

Signed poster by the Hungarian Neo-Avant-Garde artist, Károly Kismányoky (1943–2018).

The poster shows four black-and-white photographic reproductions of the documentation of Kismányoky’s 1973 performance, “Experiment”. His performance took place at a gathering of the Pécs Workshop, a collective of neo-avant-garde artists of the south-west Hungarian city, Pécs, which operated on the blind spot of the Hungarian art scene between the late sixties and the eighties. With his 1973 action, he attempted to unify all the objects of the gathering and to create one, collective artwork by placing a sticker that says “Not Today” or “Today Not” on the different artworks and everyday objects around the area of the gathering.
