First edition Mili [Shmuel] Novak’s collection of modernist Hebrew poems.

Novak’s poetry was inspired by the October Revolution in the style of Vladimir Mayakovsky and Alexandr Blok. The typographic cover design was created by Manuel (Emanuel) Shechtman (1900–1941), a graphic and scenic designer of Kiev.
