The RA Group evolved from the circle of the younger surrealist artists around Karel Teige in the pre-war Czechoslovakia and after the war, in 1948 it was banned by the Communist authorities.
This brochure “p. f. 1947” is the fifth publication of RA and one of the scarcest, as it was printed in only a hundred copies. It contains texts by Ludvik Kundera and Zdenek Lorenc, and illustrations byJosef Istler, Václav Zykmund, Bohdan Lacina, Vilém Reichmann and Václav Tikal. The cover of the booklet is by Milos Korecek.
