Tovérna na absolutno (The Absolute at Large) is Capek’s science fiction novel about the changes of the society as the result of a reactor that produces free energy.

Karel Čapek (1890–1938) was a Czech novelist best known for his science fiction novels, and mostly for his play “R.U.R.” that introduced the word “robot”.

Illustrated by Karel’s brother Josef (1887–1945) who was a graphic artist, and painter, also a writer and poet. He is credited as the coiner of the word “robot”, for Karel’s book “R.U.R.”.
