Text printed as a carbon copy, the cover and the illustrated title pages are handprinted. [2], 007–016, 016–40, 042–058, [2] leaves, and [2] hand printed title leaves. In fine condition.

Limited, samizdat edition of Hrabal’s two short stories Setkáni a návštěvy and Bambino di Praga.

Both were first published in Poupata (Buds), Hrabal’s 1970 collection of short stories. The volume was eventually banned and destroyed by the Communist régime of Czechoslovakia, thus its writings only appeared in samizdat editions.

The creator of this book was Karel Ševčík-Prax (b. 1952) musicologist and beat musician who was also responsible for the first, samizdat publications about The Rolling Stones in Czechoslovakia.
