Inscribed edition of Krasznahorkai’s debut novel. It was originally published in 1985, and became the source
of Béla Tarr's 415-minute black and white masterpiece of the same title which is considered one of the
greatest Hungarians films.
László Krasznahorkai (b. 1955) is a Hungarian novelist and screenwriter. Honoured with numerous literary
prizes and the most prestigious Hungarian state award the Kossuth Prize.
