An early appearance of humanoid robot in science fiction novel, the first of such in Hungarian literature.

The striking cover with the image of the “steel-man” and twenty text illustrations, many of them depicts the robot, are designed by Imre Sebők.

Sebők (1906–1980) was a Hungarian painter, graphic artist, book illustrator and he was one of the first Hungarian comic artists.

Zsigmond Havas (1900–1972) was a Hungarian author of detective novels and juvenile literature.
