Miklós Szerelmey was one of the most significant Hungarian lithographers, as evidenced by the lithographs made with various technical solutions in the volume. According to the preface, the publisher was guided by the popularization of the glorious past and thereby the strengthening of patriotism in publishing the work. Among the contributors we find the names of Gábor Döbrentei, Joseph Häufler, Mihály Horváth, Imre Henszlmann and Ferenc Toldy. In addition to the historical-themed plates and those depicting folk costumes, the volume also contains views of Dévény, Esztergom, Pannonhalma and Nagybörzsöny. The decorative title page at the beginning of the volume is also beautiful, where the frame, richly illustrated with plant ornaments, is adorned with the Hungarian coat of arms held by two angels at the top and a charming small view of Pest at the bottom. There is a simpler version of the decorative album, also with German text, which contains only 25 images. Very rare.
