Soviet cold war propaganda book. Illustrated by the chief political cartoonists of the USSR and Hungary.

Illustrated by the Kukryniksy, the group of three Soviet cartoonists, whose name is an acronym formed from the artists names (Mikhail Kupriyanov, Porfiri Krylov, Nikolai Sokolov). They were the chief illustrators of the satirical magazine “Krokodil” and became the most important propaganda cartoonists of the USSR.

The other Soviet illustrator of the book is Boris Yefimov (1899 or 1900 – 2008) the Jewish-Ukrainian born political cartoonist who was the chief illustrator of the newspaper “Izvestia”.

The third illustrator was Hungarian, Tibor Toncz (1905–1979) a graphic artist, mostly known as designer of advertisement posters and propaganda cartoons.
