The book was printed as a series of three children’s book in the same format (one them is by “Testvérország” by Béla Balázs). Illustrated by the author, in her unique Hungarian art nouveau style.
Inscribed by Lesznai to his sons György and András. The book was dedicated to them.
Anna Lesznai (1885–1960) was a Hungarian painter, graphic artist, poet and writer. She was member of the post-impressionist avant-garde art movement “The Eight” (A Nyolcak). Considered as one of the most outstanding Hungarian poets of the 20th century.
