A very rare publication of this lesser-known (French) International antifascist committee, the Commission d’enquête international sur les atrocites hitleriennes. A collection of lists, reports, and other texts related to the atrocities committed by Nazi Germany by 1933. Some of the reports were published here first or appeared here only (at least in Frech translation). It contains 8 documents: a loosely inserted list of the names of 36 German political prisoners sentenced to death in 1933; a list of 51 concentration camps in Germany; testimonies of 19 survivors of the tortures they suffered in Germany (among them the French translation of the Report of Hans Dammert [USHMM RG.11.001 M.20/ Reel 91, Fond 1367, Opis 2, Folder 33]); Quelques exemples du régime de la Terreur du Fascisme Hitlérienne, a report from Bavaria (originally published in the Volksstimme (Saarbrücken, June 22, 1933); a report on the atrocities at the Sonnenburg Concentration Camp; an article about the jurisdiction of Nazi Germany; Le rapport de Martha J. from Heiligensee; and a report of an apolitical tradesman.

Unrecorded, we couldn’t trace any copies in institutional holdings either.
