Unique holograph score by the Jewish-Hungarian composer, Géza Falk. Géza Falk (1899–1945) was a Hungarian musicologist and composer, and the intendant of the Jewish High School in Budapest. In his compositions, he used traditional Hungarian Jewish tunes and motifs. Falk is known for his string-quartets, songs, oratorios (“A furulyás” [The Flutist], “A kinyilatkoztatás” [The Revelation], “A kínai fuvola” [The Chinese Flute]) and his operas “Endymion” and “Moses”. He was a prolific author, who wrote over 16 books on Wagner’s and Beethoven’s work, and on the history of music. His compositions were broadcasted by several radio stations all over Europe. Falk perished in the Holocaust. Extremely scarce, we could not trace any handwritten or printed copies. According to our knowledge it has never been published.
