In publisher’s yellow wrappers (front: identical to title page; rear: letterpressed advertisement of B&H). Folio. 5 leaves: p. [1] lith ITP, p. [2] blank, pp. 3–8 engr text, pp. [9, 10] blank. Title lithographed, music engraved. Wrappers artistically restored at the extremities. Pages chipped, light foxing throughout. Occasional corrections to the music (pitches, accidentals, articulations, etc.) in pencil. Otherwise clean, overall in very good condition.

First German edition of Chopin’s Opus 29. Provenance: Anton Khayll’s (1819 – after 1841; Viennese pianist) possessor’s inscription on the title page. Grabowski-Rink 29 –1-B&H.
