Scarce second and last issue of the important Polish Avant-garde journal, published by the group Praesens.
The journal was only published in two issues, in 1926 and 1930 by Praesens, a Polish group bringing together Avant-garde architects and artists supporting Constructivism and functionalism.
Present issue of this comprehensive journal is divided into three major thematical sections: architecture, painting and theatre, film, poetry, photography, exhibitions, reports. It includes numerous plans, photographs and photographical reproductions of works by international Avant-garde artists and Bauhaus architects, such as Alvar Aalto, Marcel Breuer, Hannes Meyer, Walter Gropius, Joan Miro, Fernand Léger, Frank Lloyd Wright; and articles by László Moholy-Nagy and Hans Richter, amongst others.
