A beautiful Hungarian Art Nouveau publication, Lajos Kozma’s illustrations for Béla Révész’s short stories.

The first text-volume contains fairy-tale-like short stories by Béla Révész, while the second, thirty, fine, full-page Art-Nouveau illustrations by Lajos Kozma. Kozma created these drawings under the influence of the art of Koloman Moser, Carl Otto Czeschka and Gustav Klimt. The two volumes appeared with different frontispieces.

Lajos (Ludwig) Kozma (1884–1948) was a Hungarian graphic artist, designer and architect. His furniture designs were published in several magazines and books, among others in Alexander Koch’s Innen Dekoration and in Neue Werkkunst by F. E. Hübsch Verlag (Möbel und Raumkunst von Ludwig Kozma mit einer Einleitung von Ernst Kállai, 1926), his graphic designs in Gutenberg Jahrbuch.

One of the finest examples of Hungarian-Art Nouveau.
