Paris: Éditions Fourcade, [1931]. First edition. Presentation copy, inscribed by the author to René Lacôte, decorated with a small drawing. Limited edition, numbered to 510, this copy remained unnumbered. In publisher’s wrappers. 158 [8] p. Bent at extremities, spine slightly damaged at tail and head. Occasional light foxing. P. 25 is torn at bottom not affecting the text. Small hole on the margin of p. 91. Overall in very good condition.

Presentation copy, inscribed by the author to René Lacôte. The inscription reads: “A René Lacôte qui a su m'apprendre bien des choses sur moi-même Affectueux souvenir de Tristan Tzara Novembre 1951”.

René Lacôte (1913-1971) was a poet and literary critic. He published various poetic anthologies, one dedicated to Tristan Tzara (1952).
