Three rare first editions by Miklós Konkoly-Thege (1842-1916), the Hungarian astronomer, meteorologist, politician, member of Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Konkoly-Thege constructed a telescope and built an observatory on his land at Ó-gyalla in 1871, where he observed and later described meteors and comets. He was also involved in researches in the field of spectroscopy. His observatory became world-famous within years and in 1899 he donated it for the Hungarian State.
