Miklós Konkoly-Thege (1842–1916) was a Hungarian astronomer, meteorologist, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and Fellow of Royal Astronomical Society. In 1871 he constructed a telescope and in 1874 built an observatory in his palace park at Ógyalla.
