Holograph letter in Greek by Schliemann to her daughter Andromache.
Heinrich Schliemann (1822–1890) the German archeologist, best known for his excavations at the ancient sites of Troy and Mycenae, informs his daughter Andromache (1871–1962) about visiting his mother in Vienna, asks about Andromache’s travels, and suggests her a cure. Sent from Troy (Troja prés des Dardanelles) supposedly during Schliemann’s fourth excavation at Troy between 1888 and 1890.
