[Czechoslovakia]: [1959]. The upper third of each page is painted black, that serves as background to the actual storyboard. Handmade leporello book. Lehký’s name as scriptwriter indicated on the title page, probably by his hand and the title of the script in pencil by different hand. 72 [illustrated] + 8 [blank, except the black backgroun] p. Few notes in pencil to the lower part throughout. Title page somewhat dusted, chipped. Inside clean. Overall in fine condition.

“Tri Muzi” (Three Man) was created in 1959 and featured at the Venice Film Festival in 1960, where it was awarded the first prize in the category of animated pictures. Also screened at the Melbourne Film Festival in 1962.

“Tri Muzi” is built up of very simple drawings of the three differently colored quarrelsome stick figures and tells an anecdotal farce of their friendship how it is damaged by their irresponsibility, carelessness, laziness and lack of cooperation.

With an additional handwritten ticket that certifies the origins and the authenticity of the item.
