Georgia Coleman (1912–1940) American diver, competed in the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam and in the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles where she won the gold medal in the 3 metre springboard even.

Eleanor G. Holm (1913–2004) American swimmer, Olympic gold medalist (1932, Los Angeles, 100 metre backstroke). In the movie Tarzan’s Revenge (1938) Holm played as the main character of Eleanor Reed.

Helene Madison (1913–1970) American swimmer. She won 3 gold medals in freestyle at the 1932 Summer Olympic Games and becoming the most successful athlete there. As an actress she played in the film ‘The Warrior’s Husband” (1933). She was inducted into the US Olympic Hall of fame in 1992.
